Attempted Ebike Theft

On Friday, January 2, 2015, at 2.30am, there was an attempted ebike theft on Vidal St. between Davis and Wellington.
The bike was secured by means of alarm and immobilizer.
No suspect information is available. Event has been reported to Sarnia police. Suspect likely had knife, as an electrical cord to charge the bike was cut.

201502150215 - Vandalism / Willful damage to property, under 100 dollars.
Same ebike, same address. Believed that a beer bottle was used to smash the front fender of the ebike, by a visitor or tenant of the address.
Suspect fled on foot northbound on Vidal St. towards Davis. Direction beyond this intersection is unknown.

This, and previous occurance was reported to Sarnia Police at time of incident. Police attended this occurance this time only, were not requested on previous call.
